Propulsé au devant de la scène continentale après ses prestations remarquées contre l’Algérie (Homme du Match) et la Côte d’Ivoire (Arrêt du penalty de Franck Kessié) lors de la CAN 2021 au Cameroun, Mohamed Kamara évoluait jusque-là au East End Lions FC, un club sierra-léonais basé dans la capitale Freetown.
